Amy Looper

Amy is an EdTech/MedTech social venture entrepreneur and Co-Founder/COO of OneSeventeen Media, PBC. Previously, Amy co-founded her first tech company that grew 8,164% in 35 months resulting in a $158M IPO exit in 1999.

Today, OneSeventeen Media has raised $610k in seed round funding to scale reThinkIt!, their telemental health platform focused on kids. reThinkIt! is so powerful, it’s already prevented a potential school shooting and multiple youth suicides.

A rapid rise in the demand for more adolescent mental healthcare has opened the door for reThinkIt! to provide parents and kids outcome-based, data-driven mental healthcare tools that are personalized, accessible and affordable.

Leveraging its eight years of evidence-based research and powered by machine learning, reThinkIt! combines smart, chatbot-driven conversations, real-time assessments and tailored content paired with live chat therapists –– all on-demand. It provides increasingly vulnerable kids high-touch mental health engagement and support when needed most –– at school, at home or on their own.

Amy and Co-Founder, Beth Carls, are alumni of the Health Wildcatters Accelerator.
